Butterfly and robin – other examples of images to for greetings cards – 30/03/20
I decided to choose two other images for my Sheffield Botanical Gardens Greetings Cards series. I chose a Robin image and a Butterfly image. I think that these would really fit in with the Bee images as they’re all animals and all part of nature which is a good selling point to people buying greetings cards from a local, familiar area. This shows development within my work because I have actually started a sample product for my project, which will hopefully be accompanied by another product which I am going to present my Sheffield Theatres series.
I cut out the focal point of the image out to enable me to print them out on transparency paper easier and so they will look good with a paler background so that they continue to be the focal point of the greeting card. This will draw the audience in and provoke interest in the product.
